This School will cover topics in random processes, ergodic theory, heat kernel and potential theory, Lévy processes, coalescent and fragmentation theory, stochastic differential equations, percolation theory, finance, probabilistic algorithms and particle systems, and we look forward to seeing the latest developments in these areas.

CIMPA Summer School on Inverse Problems and its Application
This CIMPA Summer School is intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in Inverse Problems and related areas where these problems naturally arise as is the case of Control Theory, Optimal Design, Acoustics, Geophysics, Engineering,Biology, Medicine, etc. The different courses cover some of the current research areas in Inverse Problems with different focuses presented by selected lecturers who are active researchers on these areas.
V Summer School on Discrete Mathematics
The School is aimed at students of mathematics, science and engineering who are interested in algorithms, combinatorial optimization, and its various applications in networks, distributed systems, and game theory. The courses will be aimed at both graduate students and students finishing their undergraduate level. The activity will take place between January 4 and 8 at the Institute for Complex Systems in Valparaíso.
IX Spring School of DIM-CMM
The School is aimed to undergradate Latin American students. For two weeks they will have the following courses: Introduction to Degree Theory, Basic Elements of Ergodic Theory, Introduction to Optimal Design, Control and Optimization of bioreactors, Communicational Complexity.The organization has a limited number of scholarships for transfer and accommodation for participants.

School on Variational Analysis
This School on Variational Analysis consists in 7 courses (4 sessions each) on topics relevant to this field. These courses are oriented towards advanced undergraduates and Ph.D. students in mathematics. This activity will be held in the Center for Mathematical Modeling at the Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile (Avenida Blanco Encalada 2120, 7th floor), during November 6-19.
VIII Spring School of DIM-CMM
The School is for Latin American students who are in the last years of their studies. In this new version, students will have the following courses: Calculus of Variations, Mathematical Analysis of Fluid Mechanics Models, Convex Analysis and Mathematical Ecology. The organization has a limited number of scholarships for transfer and accommodation for participants.
II Winter School on Discrete Mathematics
The school in for students from Universidad de Chile and Universidad Adolfo Ibañez who are interested in graph theory, networks, combinatorics and algorithms. The sessions will be aimed primarily at undergraduates. Students interested in participating can apply by sending an email to redes08@dim.uchile.cl indicating their intention to participate. Applications will be accepted until July 10. Students accepted will have financial support to cover lodging and activities at the hotel.
