Workshop “Evidences in initial training of teachers from FONDEF-REFIP project experience”

The FONDEF project “Resources for Initial Training of Teachers” (REFIP) in Mathematics, has as main objective to contribute to the improvement of the training of future basic education teachers in the country.

To achieve this goal, a team of experts from different disciplinary and educational institutions, led by the CMM -University of Chile, first created a collection of texts for students of Basic Education Teaching programs, aligned with the Guiding Standards for Career Education in Basic Education, nationally defined by Ministry of Education.

This workshop will present evidence provided by the methodological research on pilot stage during the year 2012, in which the texts were piloted in teaching careers in Basic Education 16 universities.
